I founded Wildflowers Kindergarten more than 20 years ago after I was unable to find a preschool for my daughter that aligned with my instinctual conviction about what young children need – time in nature, space from adult interference and an environment dedicated to protecting and honouring their innate sense of wonder and imagination. This is and has always been at the heart of everything we do at Wildflowers.

Wildflowers’ ethos is rooted in my interest in educational philosophy, experience with working in a Steiner Waldorf kindergarten, and academic background in social anthropology, as well as my own childhood in Sweden primarily spent playing outdoors.

I continue to work with the children every day and remain dedicated to enriching their experiences at Wildflowers.
